Withers Tsang Class Comedians - Show & Workshop

Do you love making people laugh? Do you crave the spotlight? Maybe you could be NZ’s next top comedian!

NZ International Comedy Fest and Withers Tsang bring you the 2019 Class Comedians free community shows. Come along and see a star line up of Aotearoa’s top comedians perform, followed by an interactive workshop where you can get involved and learn the tricks of the comedy trade.

Aimed at 15 – 18 year olds, but this is a whole whānau affair, this is a free event and not ticketed, so arrive early to make sure you get a spot. Class Comedians at Howick College will be hosted by Brendon Green and also comedians Hayley Sproull, Rhys Mathewson and Ruby Esther.

These workshops give some of our young comedians the chance to go further and complete the full Class Comedians Programme with the opportunity to perform at the final event at Q Theatre, during the Comedy Festival.
