On the opening weekend of Wonderland we are delighted to bring you a fun and lighthearted quiz on everything Alice.
Love a quiz? An Alice in Wonderland fan? Team up with like minded friends and join us in the sunshine of Red Gates for 2 hours of falling down the rabbit hole to discover the story, book, films and characters of this magical childhood story. There’ll be intrigue and excitement, pizza and beer, card building and flag waving! Plus the winning team will receive a Wonderland goody bag and free tickets to see the exhibition.
Sign up in groups of 4 or 6 and receive a 20% discount. Please note that ‘member groups’ must contain at least 1 member of the Friends of Te Papa. If you have groups of different sizes please add individual tickets to your group booking. A cash bar will be available. If bad weather prevails we will be located inside the museum.
About the exhibition Wonderland: Since first gracing the silver screen in 1903, Alice has delighted audiences of all ages in more than 40 arthouse and blockbuster cinematic odysseys. Wonderland explores how this precocious hero inspired revolutionary filmmaking, from groundbreaking special effects and animation to evocative storytelling and technological development. In this must-see event, take a trip through the looking glass into an immersive, enchanted world that draws together a remarkable selection of original behind-the-scenes material. The exhibition was developed by the Australian Centre for the Moving Image.
