Wrights Hill Fortress Open Day - Waitangi Day

Bring your family and friends to visit the historic Fortress on Wrights Hill, Karori, built to protect Wellington from enemy bombardment in World War Two.

Self guide yourself around the 620 metres of interconnecting tunnels and view weapons display, how a 9.2 inch gun fires and see lots of interesting exhibits.

Moderate admission prices but No EFTPOS. All proceeds go to the continuing restoration of the Fortress.

Refreshments available... bring your own lunch and enjoy the views.
Limited parking at the top of the hill - Please park sensibly.

Strong footwear advised, no jandals please. Bring a torch for some fun!
