Spend a weekend exploring beautiful and unique gardens in Wairarapa. This two-day self-drive garden tour is a rare chance to visit selected private gardens opening to support Pūkaha's annual fundraiser - the Pūkaha Wairarapa Garden Tour. 2020 celebrates 10 years of this much-loved event.

Sure to delight gardeners of all ages, we’re excited to be bringing you some firm favourites alongside new gardens that haven't been on the tour before, and some that have never opened their gates to the public.

The 2020 tour will showcase rural native plantings (ideal for lifestylers), flourishing edibles, smart design for small urban spaces, flowers galore, subtropical delights, plus mighty remnant regenerating forests, and sustainable gardens. Choose from a diverse lineup and take inspiration and heart from ordinary people who have overcome common gardening challenges to create beautiful outdoor spaces.

With loads of variety, there'll be something to suit gardeners of all ages. A ticket gets you entry into more than a dozen private gardens.

Pick your gardens and choose your route according to whatever tickles your gardening fancy.

Locally sourced and home-made refreshments will be available in selected gardens, or BYO picnic.

Children under the age of 14yrs have free entry with a ticketed adult. Please leave pets at home.

Cash sales of plants and gardening treats will be on offer.

A limited number of Earlybird tickets go on sale, 10am, 1 August, 2020. Once EBs have sold, general admission tickets will be available.
