Dances from several ethnic communities will perform in the stage. Also, audiences will have chance to taste food from various ethnic communities. The festival is fifth in row. The Centre started festival from 2016. It is aimed to cover all ethnic communities in 10 years. The objectives to run the event is to link all communities together to establish strong relationship with all for establishing peace and harmony in the country. In the first year, only 14 ethnic communities took part in the festival. In the last festival, more than 35 ethnic communities took part in the festival. Also, many cultural stalls were operated by ethnic groups. Thanks to all sponsors and funding agencies, including Office o Ethnic Communities, Foundation North, Community Organization Grants, Lion Foundation for the valuable financial support to run the event. The Ethnic Communities always supported us to successfully organize the event. At the beginning there were only about 500 people. The numbers started rising since then. Therefore, we hired a large venue accommodating more than 2000 in the last event. The venues occupied are respectively, Mt. Eden War Memorial, Dorothy Winstone Centre 9 Auckland Girls Grammar School. Te Atatu Peninsula Community Centre and Victory Convention Centre at Freemans Bay.
