Always wanted to have a go with acrylic paints, or to improve your skills in a fun and friendly workshop environment?

This two-day workshop is the perfect introduction to an accessible medium: we will be using acrylics thickly, layering colours and exploring techniques with a brush, palette knife and other tools - fingers included!

There will be step by step demonstration, and plenty of personal tuition to build your confidence: classes are never larger than 6 people which allows for an exceptional amount of one-on-one guidance.

This workshop focuses on Mount Egmont - a local mountain view reflected in a lake. We will be looking at the mountain from photos, to create a dramatic landscape with craggy rocks, reflection in the water, soft grasses and an interesting sky.

Check my website for all painting workshops and weekly art classes.

As always there is a max of 6 people, and each student's table is well-spaced to allow for 2m distancing. The price includes a heavy-duty (thick sided) 40 x 50cm canvas plus all paints. I'll provide reference images which will be a starting point for the techniques, although you can also bring your own images if you want to try something more "specifically personal".

Booking is essential! Contact Charlotte Giblin 021 158 2895 for more information and to book a place.
