Your friendly AKSambistas are running TWO percussion workshops in August. Come to one, or both!
At a percussion workshop, you’ll be introduced to basic playing techniques, get the chance to try out each instrument, and learn to play Brazilian-inspired rhythms and breaks, all taught by experienced AKSamba members. Whether you’re looking for a brief introduction to samba percussion or are interested in joining AKSamba*, we invite you to come along for guaranteed fun! No prior musical experience is needed and we’ll supply all the instruments.
Spaces are limited and bookings are essential. Please register via the form on our website to guarantee your place.
Registrations close 5pm Wednesday, 12th August 2020 for the 1st workshop.
Registrations close 5pm Tuesday, 18th August 2020 for the 2nd workshop.
Because of elevated noise levels, our workshops are not open to under 16s and are not suitable for pregnant women.
*Because spaces in AKSamba are limited, unfortunately taking a course does not guarantee you a spot in the group.
