There are more colours to the rainbow than you might realise. While awareness and inclusion around sexual orientation have been increasing, there is one expression that is virtually unknown: ambisexuality.

To close this gap, director James Watson spent more than 20 years undertaking doctoral studies and writing a book which focuses on the men who love and admire non-operative trans women.

Together with AFI Award winners Pat Fiske and Erika Addis, the documentary was shot to promote understanding about non-operative trans women and the ambisexual men who love them. Gender equality is an important dimension of the doughnut, but ambisexual people have experienced extreme prejudice and marginalisation. They have not been recognised by either the LGBT or straight communities.

After the screening of the film, a panel discussion will be held when James will be joined by Georgina Beyer MNZM, Dame Catherine Healy and Ahi Wi-Hongi. A Q&A will follow.
