Aotearoa Cuban Festival 2020

Welcome to the home of the Aotearoa Cuban Festival.

This festival is the largest community based Cuban dance and music event in New Zealand and held in Rotorua, New Zealand. Every year it attracts some of the best Cuban dance instructors, performers and participants from around the world and New Zealand who come to share the sounds, rhythms and dances of the Afro-Cuban beat with Kiwis who love Cuban dance, music and 100% spice for your dance and your life.

2020 festival preparations have begun, pencil into your dance diary - 6th to the 8th of March 2020, with some community events preceding. The festival location is Lakes Performing Arts Company, 1215 Hinemoa Street, Rotorua - right in the middle of the city. The party and performances are a short walk around the corner to Crates n Cues, 1237 Pukuatua Street. In the spirit of Cuba. The venues will provide plenty of heat so be prepared - air conditioning is for offices.
