Are we unhappy?

According to Buddhism, we suffer at our own hands by not understanding how things are. Suffering has many faces, from mild irritation to exceedingly traumatic experiences, and much of the unnecessary suffering that we endure comes from responses, our responses - not from other people, not from certain circumstances and situations themselves, but how we have responded to those situations. When we talk about suffering in the Buddhist tradition, we’re not simply talking about suffering that we know, but about any form of dissatisfaction.
Through weekly dialogues, we hope to promote understanding of differing Buddhist views on a variety of subjects such as suffering, altruism, negative emotions and fearlessness and in doing so lay the ground for further discussion.
One does not need to be Buddhist to take part in this series of talks.

Every Saturday starting 6th June / 2-3 pm

Participation is by donation
