The Auckland Youth Orchestra, conducted by Antun Poljanich, presents:
Bernstein: Candide Overture
Butigan: Andante & Allegro in Klezmer Style
Arnold: Clarinet Concerto No.2 (soloist: Kiara Kong)
Tchaikovsky: Symphony No.5

Experience the thrill of 75 talented young musicians (ages 16-26) performing together with energy, precision and passion!

With the support of the Lodge of the Liberal Arts, the Auckland Youth Orchestra presents an exciting symphony concert. On the programme is Bernstein’s lively Candide Overture, two exciting works for clarinets (Arnold’s jazzy 2nd concerto and a work in Klezmer style) and Tchaikovsky’s flamboyant 5th Symphony.

This is a free concert. Donations will be gratefully received at the end of the concert to assist with ongoing costs.
