Find out about the process of writing a crime novel and the world of DI Robbie Gray in our first author talk since Level 4 lockdown.

Chris Stuart has worked in outback Australia with Aboriginal communities, in war zones, during disasters, disease outbreaks and famine and has witnessed the best and worst of humanity. As a result she has a head full of stories that need to be written.

The desire to become a writer began when she was caught in a bombing attack in Northern Sudan. One of her colleagues gave her a book to read while waiting for the all clear. The book was so absorbing and instrumental in distracting her from the danger outside that she realised how wonderful it was to be an author and have the power to transport the reader to another time and place. For Reasons of Their Own is Chris' debut novel.

Find out about the process of writing this intriguing crime novel and the world of DI Robbie Gray in our first author talk since Level 4 lockdown.

After Chris’s session, you are invited to join the Richmond Writing Group for an optional hour of discussion and fun writing exercises from 2.00pm-3.00pm.

Free. All welcome. Bookings not required.
