Momenta (formerly Avalon) is an organisation with a legacy anchored deep in the Bay of Plenty's charitable heart.

From the 1970s, when it had its genesis in the modest aspirations of a handful of community-minded Rotarians, it has grown into a substantial service provider with an ambitious business enterprise arm.

Momenta's three key goals are:
- to assist our clients in the important work of creating lives they value
- to create and generate business with a social conscious so we have the financial stability to choose to focus our work where we see the most need
- to use our influence to advocate for change in the systems and societal attitudes that continue to hold back people living with disadvantage.
