Book Launch: Berst Draws

Join us for the launch of "Berst Draws" with artist Dr. Bobby "Berst" Hung.

This publication presents a culmination of 80 analogue illustrations created between 2014-2020 by Dr Bobby "Berst" Hung. He explores four key themes: contemporary visual culture, mythologies and identity, social activism, and graffiti writing. Spanning over six years, each series represent different periods of his life. The illustrations speak as much about the manifestation of ideas as it does about his journey into adulthood, artistic practice, graffiti writer, and an academic. The aspirations of this book aim to synthesise his various identities as an artist, researcher, and teacher.
