Brain Awareness Month 2020: Blenheim

You're invited to attend a presentation in Blenheim with guest speaker, Dr Melanie McConnell.. As part of our Brain Awareness Month series, this is an opportunity to learn more about the many wonders and marvels of the human brain.

Dr Melanie McConnell will be presenting on her research conducted at the Malaghan Institute of Medical Research. The primary focus of Dr McConnell's research is to investigate and understand how cancer cells survive stress and apply this knowledge to the development of more effective cancer therapies. Her primary focus of research revolves around a specific type of brain cancer called Glioblastoma.

Parking is available onsite, but it is on a first come, first serve basis.
