Theme: Crested/monstrose & bumpy/curly plants - You're welcome to bring along your favourite plant that's crested, monstrose, bumpy, curly, or otherwise unusual shape.
Talk: 'Cactus & Succulent Potting Mix' - To buy pre-made, or to make your own? That is the question. What makes a good cactus potting mix? What makes a good succulent potting mix? Mixes can range from cheap-and-cheerful through to custom blends made from premium ingredients. Learn the basic components that go into a potting mix suitable for cacti and succulent plants, along with the various proportions of each ingredient.
Cactus or succulent swap: Bring along a plant or two to share with other members or guests (raffle style).
Sales table: There will be a table with a limited selection of cacti and succulents (cash only).
Cost helps cover hall hire.
