Kaitiaki Whangaroa are honoured to be hosting these two amazing acts in ONE SHOW for our first ever Fundraising event!
We welcome friends, family, Environmentalists, reo speakers and learners, and anyone who wants to enjoy some great live musical theatre blended with some Kaeo rural town magic - nau mai haere mai!
Exciting duo ARO are inspired by Aotearoa's nature and wildlife with waiata in te reo Māori and English, Emily and Charles' show is intimate, engaging and celebrates community and a blending of cultures. Aro mai, Aro atu, Aroha (To face, to be faced, to love)
Singer-songwriter Caitlin Smith is one of the country's best known performers. Legally blind since birth, Caitlin has coached singers like Anika Moa and Nesian Mystik. Described as having "a voice that imagination created", her solo performances are both mesmerising and magical.
