Canned Peaches - OTB Dance Collective and Tempo Dance Fest

Canned Peaches looks to explore the question, ‘Is it possible to reconnect to the origin of Dance genres once we separate the physical movement from theoretical knowledge?’. The live-streamed experimentation reflects our observations and experiences in Dance education, which has not put equal emphasis on both the practical and theoretical components of learning movement styles.

The live-stream will occur at 8pm on the 9th of October onto the Tempo Dance Festival Facebook page.

OTB Dance collective is a project-based group that focuses on concept-inspired, co-constructed pieces. Their focus is drawing on dancers from diverse backgrounds, and using projects as opportunities to create new connections between them and other creative professionals. OTB focuses on creating collaborative opportunities for performance for dancers from all backgrounds.
