Canva Workshop: How to Create Eyecatching Marketing Material

Looking for ways to save money on advertising and promote your business on a low budget? Canva could be a good fit for you.

If you’re a Hawke’s Bay business and find it really hard to design your own marketing material from scratch, this workshop is for you!

In this session we will be using the free version of Canva and cover:

- The options available to create posters, social media posts, event pages etc.
- How to match colours in your logo.
- How to design like a pro using Canva's tool kit.

At the end of the workshop you will be able to:

- Create a beautiful colour palette for your designs.
- Understand eye-catching design principals.
- Create consistency across your marketing material.
- Create a social media graphic that you can upload to your social media.

This session will include the opportunity to have a fresh, up-to-date profile pic taken of yourself that you can use in your Canva project on the day.

Make sure to bring your laptop! Spaces are limited. I will be working with a small group to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to create their first social media image before they leave!
