Chinese New Year Comedy Show: CANCELLED

New Zealand Chinese Comedy and Folk art Society Inc. is a local comedy performance group specialised in Crosstalk (Xiang Sheng相声) - a form of traditional Chinese stand-up comedy normally delivered by actors in pairs. Having existed for 150 years of history, Crosstalk has become a recognised symbol of the traditional Chinese culture.

The members come from different backgrounds but share the same enthusiasm of Crosstalk and talents in performance. It was Crosstalk that glued these ‘old’ boys together since 2017. Their shows are mainly based on traditional scripts yet with new contents dedicated to local Chinese community.

The show will be in Mandarin and around two hours. Laughter guaranteed!
