Discover the ancient and celebrated tradition of dance. Learn Bharathnatyam, the oldest of India’s classical dance styles. The dance workshop ends with a fun Bollywood session. Workshop suitable for all ages.

Sunday 12 July
Get a glimpse into another culture. Join us for a short film and a discussion about sociocultural topics that have wrought positive change in the lives of Indian women.

These events are a collaboration between Waikato Museum and Shama Hamilton Ethnic Women’s Centre.
