Two Auckland-based singer/songwriters perform in the intimate setting of The Vic's Acoustic Lounge Bar (Cinema 4).
Dave played and sang in the folk group Fieldwork, who appeared in many folk clubs, pubs and festivals on the folk circuit in England and, occasionally, France in the eighties and nineties. His live material ranges from self-penned songs to covers by artists including Neil Young, Nick Drake, The Band, Grant Lee Buffalo. Dave combines fingerstyle guitar and strumming patterns on his Lowden and Williams acoustic guitars, which often find themselves in alternative tunings.
Emily is a singer/songwriter who combines a classical piano background with her love of folk, rock and lyricism to create her own unique style. Recently returned to New Zealand having been based in Montreal for thirteen years, she has performed everywhere from Japan to New York so "Eden" is a nod to her south island roots.
