An exhibition of ceramic works by Dame Doreen Blumhardt (1914 - 2009).

Doreen Blumhardt made an inestimable contribution to the crafts in New Zealand, she was one of fifteen potters invited to exhibit in New Zealand's first national pottery exhibition in Dunedin in 1957, she co-founded New Zealand Potter magazine and established the Blumhardt Foundation in 2003 which has ensured that 'New Zealand's rich tradition of decorative art is celebrated, cherished and nourished'. Her work is included in the collection of the Victoria and Albert Museum London and the Museo Gaccia in Switzerland as well as all major collections in New Zealand.
