From dropping your first dot on the canvas, you’ll discover how easy it is to create your own patterns and designs. You will learn about the different tools and be guided through the techniques and you’ll leave with the skills to create more of your own designs at home.

In this course you'll learn the art technique of Mandala-Inspired Dot Paint. We'll go through a variety of tools that can be used for dot art and you'll take home your own set. You tutor will demonstrate different shapes and patterns. You'll have the opportunity to choose the material you want to work on eg canvas, stone, or wood, and will take home your completed art. You'll learn two different approaches to Mandala Dot Painting. Mandala is a sanskit word that literally translates as circle or disc - circle mandalas are the most commonly seen form.

Who should attend?
Anyone looking for an accessible introduction to the world of painting and art. Those looking for a relaxing and meditative pastime. Those looking to explore dot painting as a new method of expression.

Expected learning outcomes:
- Knowledge of different tools that can be used
- Knowledge of two different approaches to dot painting
- Confidence to start dot painting at home on canvases or other media
