Duo Eolienne offers an intriguing sonorous mix of classical and contemporary music for the unusual combination of Harp and Saxophone.

Duo Eolienne came into being in 2015 when Michelle Velvin and Genevieve Davidson began performing together whilst studying at the New Zealand School of Music in Wellington. Discovering the multitudes of sounds they could create with the colours of saxophone and harp, Duo Eolienne was formed. Duo Eolienne frequently perform together in Wellington, showcasing contemporary compositions as well as transcriptions of classical music and most recently, their own compositions. Duo Eolienne enjoy performing contemporary music and delight at finding new music for their instruments. Through their music Michelle and Genevieve appeal to both the head and heart with clever yet breathtaking sonorous pleasure.
