Elizabeth Knox, who was appointed a CNZM in the recent Queen's Birthday honours list, will be in conversation with Featherston-based broadcaster, writer, and chicken fancier, Noelle McCarthy, on her internationally bestselling book: The Absolute Book.

According to Knox [It’s] “my best novel because it’s the wildest and the deepest.”

Expect the conversation, like her intellect, to range far and wide exploring what it means to be human and how we look after things – the planet, each other, and libraries.

This long-awaited conversation between Elizabeth and Noelle will be held in the fabulous Adam Room in the elegant, privately owned (previously owned by the Riddiford family), historic Longwood Country Estate on Friday, 10 July at 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm.

Featherston Booktown is very grateful to our sponsors of this event: Longwood Country Estate and the Wairarapa Racing Club.
