Selwyn Community Education is based at Selwyn College, Kohimarama, Auckland.

English Kiwi Culture is for students of Upper Intermediate to Advanced level English. The course is eight weeks in length and classes are Monday mornings 9:15 - 11:15am.

Learn about:
- NZ geography
- Sports in NZ
- Famous New Zealanders
- The Treaty of Waitangi
- Pronouncing Maori place names
- Maori greetings
- Kiwi traditions
- Kiwi colloquial language
- Meet other migrants, practise your English and get to know more about the kiwi way.

Maximum class size 20 students.

The course fee is $35 for NZ citizens and permanent migrants (those with Resident or Permanent Resident visas). This course fee is subsidised by the Tertiary Education Commission and you must attend at least 80% of classes.

For temporary migrants and visitors, the course fee is $135.00.
