Evening Viewing

Celebrate the last day of Chinese New Year at the Dunedin Chinese Garden.

Experience the tranquil atmosphere of the Garden at dusk while contemplating what the new year might bring.

With the first full moon of the new lunar year in the night sky, there will be free green tea to sip while you enjoy the sound of Chinese music, a parade of lights and Chinese cultural activities.

There’s one free lantern per child upon entry (limited numbers). Normal admission charges apply.

Under 13 free (maximum three). Additional charges may apply for some events, food and refreshments.
