The story revolves around Malcolm, a farmer and a widower of three years. He has recently returned from a holiday overseas. It is whilst on a cruise ship that he meets and falls in love with another woman. A most unexpected event for Malcolm, and together they happily return to his farm in NZ. A new beginning for both Malcolm and his fiancée Alina.
However, Malcolm’s two adult children Jason and Susan are not impressed. Neither have any interest in running the farm, but they are both very aware that the farm is a sizable asset that one day they expect to benefit from.
Misconceptions, bias and hostility begins, will this family draw strength and unity from unexpected events that happen at the farm?
