Hello again everyone!
Cine Night At Mavtech is back after a 4 month break. Gavin and the MAVtech team hope you and your families and friends are all well and are ready for another great Film Night experience. This month:
Classic 1970s comedy*
(* comedy seems necessary right now!)
On the last Friday of each month, MAVtech Museum opens its doors for Cine Night at 6pm so audience members can view our nostalgic audio visual items from the past; the things our grandparents (and maybe even ourselves!) used to watch and listen to.
Then at 7 pm, seated upstairs in the cinema dress circle, you will be entertained by a selection of advertising from the past, (comedy by today's standards).
While watching, your ears will gently caressed by the wonderful tones of our player piano masterfully operated by Jim’s feet. As the house lights dim and the projectors start to purr a picture appears on the screen, a news reel, cartoon and then the feature film. All as it was in the heyday of cinema.
