Is your fridge bursting at the seams? Are you filling your compost bin quickly? Are your chickens fat? Perhaps you are wasting food.

At this educational masterclass, learn lots about what Kiwi’s waste and how we can save money. Plus, lots of other interesting topics like the difference between “Use by” and “Best before” dates, and how much of what we throw out can be composted, or frozen for another day!

This workshop will be presented by Rochelle, she's an extremely skilled educator and has tonnes of experience educating on parenting and waste reduction!

NOTE: With the current uncertainty around COVID-19 Alert-Levels, we want to advise you that we are monitoring the situation closely and will adjust the event plans accordingly. Currently, we are planning on holding this event as planned - with social distancing, contact tracing, and sanitizer available and in place.

What else? You will also receive a gift pack full of food waste minimization products!

This workshop is suitable for all households, flats, ages and stages. In fact, everybody should attend!

About Waste Free with Kate:
For over 10 years, Kate Meads has been travelling the country delivering waste minimisation seminars, with topics ranging from cloth nappies, right through to re-usable coffee cups. Kate is extremely passionate about her work and believes that education and the sharing of knowledge is one of the most powerful tools we have in the battle against waste. Kate strongly believes that “If everyone did just one small thing for our environment every single day, we will start to make a difference that will count”. From all of this, Waste Free with Kate was born! To progress to a point where we have multiple presenters was a goal of ours for a long time.

Waste Free with Kate prides themselves on being “real”. They often joke with their audiences about the fact that we aren't perfect, nor do we expect anyone to be. The workshop is a great place to learn what you can do however, and whether it’s big or small, any change in the right direction is a good change.

“I took my 9 year old daughter to a Foodlovers Masterclass last night! We both had a great time! Kate is clearly passionate about reducing waste and shared some astonishing facts and some really helpful tips! Miss 9 loved it! Thanks so much xx.” - Sarah, a recent attendee.

Ticket Info:
The ‘Individual’ Ticket admits 1 person, and you receive 1 gift pack of waste minimization products.
