Five-week yoga basics series, begins Wednesday, 15th July.
Join Kanuka Yoga studio owner and manager, Raquel Minh for this five-week series where you will learn more about the mindful practice of yoga asana (postures), pranayama (breathing techniques) and meditation.
Whether you are brand new to yoga and want to give it a go, or if you practice regularly and are wanting to go back to the fundamentals, these classes are for you. The Foundations of Flow Series are run in five-week blocks, with rotating teachers from Kanuka Yoga so you can learn all the fundamentals from unique perspectives.
Every class will follow a similar overall structure;
Arrive and connect with your breath
Warm-up with gentle movement
Yoga lesson; move and breath mindfully as we learn
Recap and wind-down
Ending with Savasana or seated meditation
