Darkroom and RDU 98.5 FM present the fifth seminar in a series of free, informal, peer-run artist development sessions.
November's topic: Music Distribution
Free entry, free snacks, and the bar will be open if you want to buy a drink.
We'll give you tips on:
- Physical distribution of your music - making and selling CDs, vinyl, tapes, USBs, etc
- Online streaming - Bandcamp and Spotify
- Radio Play - how to get your stuff on local radio stations, as well as the process for trying to get on to commercial/mainstream stations.
All musicians are welcome to attend, regardless of experience, ability, or genre.
So come hang out, do some learning and have some free snacks.
These events are super informal and the idea is to learn from our peers and share our skills and experience with others in the creative and event industries.
