The Incubator

This is an inspiring and productive course for all levels of experience. A fun time set in a chilled out relaxed and creative environment. Learn something new and then build on it. This course will be based on traditional painting techniques with some contemporary approaches applied to the genre. As well as covering a lot of ground, equally the focus will be on developing a solid understanding of colour theory, tonal relationships, proportion, and composition. Progressing to use these ideas to develop believable 3d forms on a 2d surface.

Damien has a Master of Fine Arts, Elam School of Fine Arts, University of Auckland, and a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Otago Polytechnic. He is passionate about art in general, with his focus being Painting and Drawing.
