Gordon Place Stage - Newtown Festival

An oasis of calm in the chaos of Newtown Fair Day. This is the place to sit and chill, have a quiet drink, and listen to some actual "listening to" music.

We have 10 of Wellington's best songwriters performing their own material from 10 in the morning until 8 at night - we will have Billy Lyrical, Joanna by day, Sofia Machray, No Man's Heath, The Godwits, Bill Lake, Annette Esquenet, Scattered Wreckage, Bill Hickman and Rubita - plus as a special bonus the fabulous Gale Force Gospel Choir.

And we have 3 great local craft brewers right next door - Fortunes Favours, Waitoa Social Club and Heyday.
