Greytown Festival of Christmas

We need a little Christmas right this very moment! Having a special celebration in July is something we thought everyone would enjoy. And a mid-winter festival with lights, decorations and special events that emulate a Northern Hemisphere Christmas is perfect. It’s also a wonderful way to showcase our town for visitors eager for a winter weekend getaway, and to give the local Greytown and wider Wairarapa community a brand new event to venture out for. This July, our very first Greytown Festival of Christmas is a chance to celebrate togetherness; our visitors and locals, our businesses and community groups, our families and neighbours. Let’s create a new Greytown tradition, together!
