Would you like to be able to grow lots of new plants for free, to fill your garden, plant in community spaces and to give away?

We’re surrounded in Whanganui by attractive plants and shrubs that are easy to reproduce from cuttings. This hands-on workshop will give beginners the confidence to identify suitable plants, collect cuttings and successfully grow them on.

Bring secateurs or a pocket knife if you have one, and a way to take a small pot or two home with you.

RSVP please to the Women's Network, 345 6833 or womnet.whanganui@gmail.com so the host knows how much plant material and other supplies to bring along. (Also numbers are limited).

This event is free to attend. Feel free to bring some dinner with you if that makes organising your day easier.

This workshop is repeated on 5 March at 11am, same venue. It is proudly part of the the La Fiesta festival, organised by Women's Network Whanganui. Visit the website to download copies of the programme.
