Cornwall Park is a biodiversity hot spot for lichens when compared with most urban areas. This guided walk will cover a range of different habitats from exotic and native tree bark, a natural rock outcrop and constructed basalt walls. You will discuss what lichens are, why they are important and how we can conserve them.

Registration is essential and numbers are limited. To register please email info@cornwallpark.co.nz with your name and contact number and the number of participants.

Please dress for the weather conditions, wear sturdy shoes and bring a drink bottle with you.

Meet at the Huia Lodge Discovery Hub at 10am.
