Join the folk from Halo Project and explore the magnificent headland known as Potato Point. Meet experts in forest restoration, ecology, land management and funding for trees. Help us plant trees on the site and be inspired to start making a plan for your property! Learn how to plan, plant, maintain and protect plantings. Find out how to access funding for forest planting.

The Halo Project has been working with the landowner to develop a habitat restoration plan and secure funding for plants. Hear about this and more…

You also have the option to join us from 10am for tree planting, staying on for a BBQ and fieldtrip from 2pm-3.30pm.

Location: 26 Hill St, Pūrākaunui. Meet at 2pm at the woolshed (parking at the woolshed). Take Blueskin-Waitati Rd, turnoff onto Pūrākaunui Rd and drive all the way down Pūrākaunui Rd (which becomes Boundary Rd, and then Hill St). Look for Halo Project sign on the driveway.

This event is part of Conservation Week 2020.
