Hamilton Blues Society is hosting a Mini-fest from midday Saturday 8 August until just after midnight (early morning of Sunday 9 August) at the Waikato Commerce Club.
Members of Hamilton Jazz Society are also invited to join us and qualify for the same discount rate $5 per person - door charge $15 each.
The day opens with Art Gecko at midday (1200) Saturday, followed by a selection of bands from Waikato, Auckland, and the Bay of Plenty, 16 bands in total:
Maskell Street (Auckland), Left Field Blues Band (Auckland), Conmen, Hillman Hunters, Agnostic Contrarians, Brown Dog and The Mutleys (Tauranga), Cara Graham and Friends, Sean Lurman and Friends, with Hamilton Big Band filling a special spot, Fatt Max (Auckland), The Dirty Tones (Auckland), Al's Angels, Showdown, Velvet Bulldozer, and finally, Shotgun Band.
There will be merchandise available and we'll run some raffles, so remember to bring a little extra cash.
