Join naturopath Paloma Velásquez for health-boosting ideas using simple seasonal produce (including weeds!) to make memorable meals. Dr. Paloma Velásquez is a Chilean Medical Doctor, Naturopath and Medical Herbalist. She founded Aruraqi, and the Healthy Meal Preparation class which started in 2018.

It is her mission to aid, support and educate people to improve their wellbeing and empower them to take control over their health.

Learn how to make healthy meals from simple recipes which use plenty of seasonal vegetables, fruits, and whole foods. You will improve your understanding of what smarter food choices can do for your health, while cooking and sharing tasty meals with others.

This workshop is for anyone who is interested in improving their cooking skills and nutritional literacy at any life stage. Meals are primarily plant-based and we will harvest vegetables, herbs and edible ‘weeds’ from the EcoMatters organic gardens, which are spray free and uncertified organic. Ages 12+. Brought to you by EcoMatters.

Accessible by bus, train.
Bookings required.
