Dust off your dancing shoes and get ready for a roaring night with Wellington's hardest-swinging jazz quintet the Hip-Town Bangers. In an unprecedented move the hip bangers will be performing an entire set of original music in the style of 60s hard bop and boogaloo. Formed in 2013 through a common love of Horace Silver, Cannonball Adderley, and Lou Donaldson, Hip-Town Bangers are equal parts serious jazz and fun, dancey grooves. Made up of musicians from: The Jac, Rodger Fox Big Band, Richter City Rebels and many more, it's sure to be a time! Funky, swingy, jazzy goodness.
