In a Curious Garden

Mixit is excited to announce its 14th annual summer show ‘In a Curious Garden’! This year we've partnered with Auckland Botanic Gardens to bring you a series of free outdoor performances on 18th & 19th January.

Taking the imaginative framework of Lewis Carroll’s ‘Alice In Wonderland’ classic as a starting point, In a Curious Garden will weave together stories, moments and unexpected encounters throughout the beautiful grounds of the Auckland Botanic Gardens.

Audiences can anticipate a roaming experience guided through the environment, following the threads of stories and characters, and becoming part of the event as it weaves together. Mixit shows are guaranteed to be vibrant, energetic, thought provoking and suitable for all ages.
