International Day of the Older Person

Kiwi North invites those over 65 to enjoy free entry on Thursday 1st October to help us celebrate the International Day of the Older Person.

Free entry includes the full trifecta of the Whangarei Museum, the nocturnal Kiwi House and Heritage Park.

In the Museum over this time is the exhibition which tells the history and personal memories of Takahiwai School.

Plus all the other displays in the main museum gallery, all the animals in the Kiwi House and the beautiful Heritage Park.

These school holidays bring along your grandkids to help us celebrate the International Day of the Older Person.

Whangarei Museum and Kiwi House are adjoined, indoors and have full disability access. Groups are very welcome but please book with the team- call (09) 438 9630.
