Are you thinking of moving to a wholefood, plant-based diet, but you don’t know where to start.?

Do you want to establish a completely new and healthy relationship with food and create new eating habits by eating more plant-based foods, but have no idea where to begin, what foods you can eat or whether you will ever feel full again?

Join Qualified Nutritionist JoAnn Belworthy (Mahadevi) who will explain the benefits of including more plants-based foods into your diet. This is a kick-start workshop—learning how to incorporate healthy plant-based proteins, carbohydrates and fats into your diet to maintain proper nutritional balance and regain/retain your health.

Scientific research shows that a plant-based diet can reduce the risk of many illnesses such as Type 2 diabetes, heart disease, certain types of cancer, and other major illnesses, so changing your nutrition is a powerful way to improve your health, reduce your risk of getting sick, it gives you more energy, helps you maintain a healthy weight, reduces inflammation and so much more.

At the workshop, Jo will create a couple of recipes and you will also take away some more to try at home. You will learn how to create healthy breakfasts, lunches and dinners and yes—even sweet treats (without the added sugar!) You will also learn how to experiment at home by giving some of your own favourite recipes a plant-based makeover—replacing the meat in your chili con carne with delicious, protein-packed black beans, or turning out some amazing veggie burgers that even your kids won’t notice aren’t meat.

Eating plant-based is about eating real, mostly unprocessed whole foods, preferably organic, that come mainly from nature.

Eating plant-based is a lifestyle, not a diet, with the added spinoff that you become a lot leaner, losing weight and keeping it off without counting calories.

Find out how great you can feel and how much more you can do in your life by switching to a plant-based diet.
