A coming out story of epic proportions

2020 Billy T Nominee JAMES MUSTAPIC tried his first burger when he was 19 years old; not because he wasn’t allowed burgers as a child, or because he had any dietary restrictions - he was just too scared of trying them.

In his show, the sheltered Dunedin lad will explore the mind of a boy who never even tried to venture out of his comfort zone. He’ll share the darkest stories from his childhood, fill you in on his most personal anxieties, and let you know if his first burger lived up to the hype.

He’ll then attempt to break out of his shell to become the confident, brave and outgoing guy he’s never wanted to be. Using sound and visual elements to shock and surprise, James will endeavour to discover whether he is meant to be a loud and outgoing performer, or stay a reserved introvert.
