Update: In response to the Government's ban on gatherings of more than 500 people, promoters of the 2020 Byron Bay Bluesfest—with New Zealand sideshows scheduled to take place this Easter weekend—have announced the cancellation of their upcoming shows.

Godfather of British Blues, singer, guitarist, keyboard player, blues harmonicist, songwriter, producer and frontman John Mayall is returning to perform three NZ dates—gracing stages in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch this April. Joining him as support act is genre-defying blues, soul, songstress, Catherine Tunks.

At 86 years of age and with a staggering 62 albums down, this self-professed "road dog" hates a day off, carries his own gear at gigs and is working harder than ever to deliver his very own Blues Masterclass in 2020.

Don’t miss your chance to see this truly inspirational legend of the Blues live this April.
