Kai Iwi Snorkel Day

Explore the beautiful Taharoa Lake at Pine Beach and discover tuna/eels, bullies and dwarf īnanga whilst enjoying the crystal clear waters of the Kai Iwi Lakes. This event is funded by Foundation North and is a part of Sea Week. Recommended for everyone 5 years and up. Experienced guides and advanced safety procedures will be in place on the day.

When:
Day snorkel from 10am-3pm
Register at the tent on the day.

Twilight/Night snorkels from 7pm - Registrations essential.

Cost:
Experiencing Marine Reserves runs a series of free and subsidised events over the summer months that rely on public support to make them happen. We appreciate donations to participate, either cash or eftpos on the day, online or by giving a koha of your time volunteering at a future event. Most people donate $5-10pp.
