Kerian Varaine

Kerian Varaine is an artist/composer/performer/improvisor working out of Ōtepoti, Dunedin. His wide interests and involvement in the local art community have culminated in a body of work ranging from award winning theatre sound design, installation work, improvised performances and scored instrumental music performed throughout New Zealand and abroad. Always open for collaborations and commissions, Kerian is currently working on multiple commissioned works for a range of chamber ensembles from New Zealand.

Beep.js — A lockdown bubble based installation piece involving multiple audio and web capable devices. This has ported to the web from an older work Beep.sh. (2020)
Lorem Ipsum — A work for electronics and guitar exploring placeholders and their eventual recreation into their final product as a form of creative process. (2020)
