Suzy is our festival guest and she and her friends will introduce music for kids into our festival programme. Suzy has called on local musicians and storytellers to help her share a morning of song and story, for little ones, at Toitu.

Join us for a morning of interactive fun and see:
Natasha Manowitz - Natasha Manowitz is passionate about fostering and nurturing young childrens’ love for listening and making music. Natasha brings songs about animals and the environment from the preschool community music classes that she and her colleague Anna Davies run in Dunedin. Natasha's Music Academy offers preschool music classes, group violin and ukulele classes and private tuition in flute and violin.

ShelleyJ - Dunedin-based singer/songwriter who writes songs especially for Kiwi kids. Her songs are educational as well as fun, and she sings about native flora and fauna, and about self-worth and becoming resilient. ShelleyJ's shows give children opportunities to participate and to move and dance.

Tahu Mackenzie - Tahu has an important job as education offiicer at Orokonui Ecosanctuary but also is a performance artist and singer. At this event she will combine both passions wildlife and wild singing.

Kaitrin McMullan and Anna Bowen plan to fill the museum with Wild Kaka song and story, so start practicing your screams (quietly).

Kiwi Kids Music Tamariki Puoro is an association formed to support NZ children’s music creators and to advance the potential of all children to live healthy fulfilling lives. Visit the website to find talented kiwi artists making songs, stories and content for gorgeous kiwi kids, right here in our wild and wonderful Aotearoa.
